We had to go out to the country on Thursday. It was good to get out of the city! I miss the country!

Valentine's.

Decorating! The owl is actually a "piggy" bank. The big red candles I have sitting out all the time, I just tacked some satin ribbon and hot glued the hearts on. Valentine's day is the only time it should be appropriate to put red and pink together LOL ;-)

The owl is a broken keychain hot glued to a frame with no glass, as if he is perched. The ribbon is the same color as the owl's jewelled eyes.

St. Valentine's Day wreath

Dollar store roses, red ribbon, chocolate candy hearts, and a cute little owl.

Took a vase, stretched hosiery over it and hot glued some pearls on it.

Had this stuff lying around the house and got creative.

Roxie made a friend. I think they were both confused!

Cherry blossom painting.

I used poster board and acrylic paint. Painted the frame white and used an empty paper towel roll to get the "aged" effect.
